SSCERT educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact our area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
We are sponsored by the Stallion Springs Police Department to provide the following services to our community:
• Teach emergency preparedness
• Help our families and neighbors in times of need
• Assist the Police Department in a non-law enforcement capacity
• Assist other professional emergency responders
• Support community events
How to become CERT-trained – Attend one of our 23-hour Basic Training Classes. Classes are held in Stallion Springs.
